I'm looking at buying a 2007 dodge ram. The truck I'm looking at has a 5.7 2 mode Hybrid hemi. Didn't know they made such a motor, I know the 5.7 hemi is a good motor, but? So does anyone know anything about a Hybrid hemi motor, seen, read, talked too anyone, or even owned or driven one? Thanks.

They are starting to tear down the factory in Fenton where these trucks were built, so if I was you, I would avoid a Dodge. Sad news indeed.
But I'm a Chevy fan, and I hate Fords pretty much equally. A buddy of mine that I graduated with back in 1984 immediately started out working for a Chevy dealer, and he is still there. My driveway includes Chevy's exclusively now because I can call him any time I need help, and he usually has the answer, as well as access to all the special tools you need to work on Chevy's. I'm sure this forum is also visited by similar Ford and Mopar lovers, and that's cool. It's just like the never ending debate about which color bike to ride: Red, Orange, Blue, Yellow, Green, that "other" red, and so on.
Find a Dodge guy and I'm sure he will tell you all sorts of good stuff about Hemis. Talk to a guy like me, and I'll tell you I would rather go in for a root canal with no novacaine than spend a minute working on a Dodge, but I'd rather do that than spend a minute working on a Ford. I think there have been a lot of suicides involved with people trying to work on Fords. It's just something I refuse to do. I worked on my Grandma's LTD one time back in like 1982, and I decided that if I ever had to do that again, I would jump off the nearest cliff. And that was just a water pump, I think.
And if you take any of this seriously, have no sense of humor, and don't realize I am kidding, I have 3,000 acres of ocean front property just outside of Phoenix for sale. Call me.

By the way, I'm a big Chevy guy too, but I'm about to jump off the cliff, sell my Silverado and buy a diesel extended Ford van...
